News Daily, introduces exciting chamber music for winds, strings and harp by film composers including Bernard Herrmann, Erich Korngold, Franz Waxman, Mark Governor, J.A.C. Redford, and Jerome Moross. Bid on your favorite items at a Silent Auction which begins at 7:30 PM. A reception with the performers follows the concert.

A concert of French and Belgian chamber works will be given in honor of owner and chef Jean Louis Dehoux for the tenth year of the Belgian Restaurant L'estro Armonico's Benefit Dinner for the Austin Chamber Ensemble. A wine and cheese reception will follow.

Enjoy this fabulous five-course dinner with wines interspersed with delightful musical vignettes by musicians of the Austin Chamber Ensemble. Reservations are necessary as seating is limited. All proceeds benefit the Armonico Chamber Music Series.
The program will consist of a premiere of a trio by Kathryn Mishell, written for Trio Contraste as well as another piece written for the Trio by Carolyn Bremer, composer at the University of Oklahoma faculty. Members of the Trio Contraste are: Bill Terwillger violin, Martha MacDonald clarinet, Andrew Cooperstock piano
The Trio recently performed concerts in Sweden and Latvia. Terwillger and Cooperstock will also perform Ravel's Sonata for violin and piano. Kathy Steely of the Baylor University music faculty will premiere Emma Lou Diemer's Homage, written for viola & piano. Meet the artists at a reception following the concert.
